Automatic Data Collection & Validation
Using an Internet browser to administer questionnaires does
away with No. 2 pencils and the Scantron process, or time-consuming
data entry by hand (formerly known as "keypunching").
Check out a sample questionnaire.
Upon electronically submitting a questionnaire, its contents can be validated
and the student can be directed to any question that has not been answered correctly.
For example: If a user neglects to answer a required
question, the browser will inform him/her that an answer to the
question is "required" and will then direct the user
to the area where he/she can correctly answer the question.
Because the results have been electronically processed and transmitted
to a homogenous data storage area, the burden of administering
the questionnaires by individual organizations is minimized.
Assessment results can be published to
the Internet in a secured socket layer
for easy and secure access by all authorized reviewing parties.
